About
Studio Styles is my (Immaculata’s) project space for editorial and design projects on well-being, social justice, and healing connections with ourselves, our histories, our communities, and the environment.
The studio is an off-shoot of my art and research practice. It is named after the photographer Styles, in the play Sizwe Bansi is Dead, who used his studio to enact and memorialise the dreams and aspirations of his Black community under apartheid South Africa. I am listening to the world from Enugu and Lagos, Nigeria.
